from Debris by Pefkin

/

about

A 5 minute piece featuring recordings of extinct bird calls. I assembled this for a piece for the Unfix Festival in Glasgow in 2016. In order: Guam Flycatcher, Dusky Seaside Sparrow, Pouli, Guam Rail, Spix Macaw, Alala, Bachman's Warbler, Ivory Billed Woodpecker, Kauai 'O'o.
Note: the Alala has been reintroduced into the wild and is not longer extinct.
